How to Use Post Tracking

Post Tracking lets you track engagement on any LinkedIn post - including thought leadership content, paid ads, or posts from competitors and industry influencers.

When you track a post, Teamfluence collects social signals (likes, comments, reactions). These interactions are then added to your Monitoring tab, helping you spot potential leads and understand audience interests.

Why Use Post Tracking?

Post Tracking helps you work smarter with LinkedIn engagement. Here’s what you can achieve:

  • Identify engaged leads – See who is actively interacting with relevant content.

  • Get content insights – Learn what posts generate the most engagement so you can refine your strategy.

  • ** Track competitors** – Monitor competitor activity and uncover trends or solution awareness.

How to Track a LinkedIn Post

  1. Find the post you want to track (your own, competitor, or influencer).
  2. Click the Teamfluence button directly on the LinkedIn post.
  3. Select “Harvest Engaged Profiles.”

Note: Post tracking runs for 2 months. Any new engagement during this time will be automatically collected. Tracking can be renewed in Monitoring → Posts

How to Use Your Post Tracking Data

Once engagement is tracked, you can turn it into action:

- Monitor leads – All interactions appear in your Monitoring tab with the source Tracked Post Reaction or Tracked Post Comment

- Qualify leads – Filter by engagement score, interaction frequency, or Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) match. Qualified leads should then move into Deal Radar for enrichment, CRM sync, and follow-up.

Best Practices

  • Track posts from both your brand and competitors to get a balanced view of the market.

  • Use content insights to guide your LinkedIn posting strategy.

  • Regularly review tracked leads to prioritize outreach before engagement cools down.
